However, certain flags, like the “lipstick lesbian” flag, have less than ideal histories, founded in exclusion. To boot, many people use pronouns not necessarily associated with identities (such as he/him lesbians, they/them lesbians, she/her nonbinary people, and he/him nonbinary people), making it more difficult to feel accepted or understood when only showcasing a single aspect of their whole identity. As a they/them lesbian, and sometimes a she/her nonbinary person, I feel saddened not seeing myself represented or normalized. As a result, I'm making my own line of buttons! I am personally designing
