A horror film about a young man who goes through a traumatic break-up. - SUMMARYMy name is Jose V. Chavez. I'm a Chicano filmmaker from Santa Fe, NM living in Los Angeles, CA. I create films that surround supernatural occurrences, usually with an element of spiritualism.  This comes from being raised in a Catholic home, praying to a large picture of Our Lady of Guadalupe. THE TONGUE is important to me as this is my first serious foray into the cinematic language I want to explore in my career. Similar to Mexican filmmakers Luis Bunuel and Alejandro Jodorows
