I love hilarious dismemberment in videogames (remember giblets/gibs? Ooooh I memba). I love snappy, responsive, satisfying shooting mechanics with weight.  I love high-speed, adrenaline-filled action games that reward mastery of the controls, such as an elegantly implemented dodge mechanic.
