The kids meant it as a joke, but we did it anyway. We spent the entire year contacting guests, screening vendors, organizing floor plans, and preparing for kids activities. Their hard work allowed our low income community to attend an affordable show with an incredible guest lineup. What began as a fundraiser to benefit our school turned into a literacy event to benefit our community and charities.This year, on May 11th, we are putting on our fifth annual comic-con, a show with over 50 writers and artists, all of whom donate their time to promote comic literacy and bring the classic comic-con feel to a community at an affordable price!
