We are THIRTEEN! SMC returns to Winnemac, Independence and Gross Park on Henderson for year 13! - We are SMC (Shakespeare's Motley Crew), a not-for-profit Chicago theatre company that has been telling Shakespeare stories since 1992.  In 2013, we introduced Midsummer Mayhem (Shakespeare shorts) to Winnemac Park in Ravenswood.  Since then, we’ve added Horner Park, Independence Park, St. Matthias Church, St. Gregory the Great Parish and Gross Park in Lakeview to our summer festival tour. For our thirteenth year, our theme is…13.  13 is lucky and unlucky. 13 is dirty
