An enamel pin set featuring the last members of several extinct animals. -  The last member of given species is called an Endling. During the last century or so, awareness of our impact on the animals we share our world with has grown, and so has our willingness to help conserve the animals that are in danger of disappearing forever. Unfortunately for many animals, we recognized their plight too late. I want to commemorate some of these Endlings in enamel pins. Benjamin - the last Thylacine, or "tasmanian tiger," who died in a zoo in 1936. Thylacines were unique  because while they looked a lot like a canine, they were, in fact, the largest living carnivorous marsupial of the time. The government put a bounty on thylacines out of fear that they would prey on livestock, and this devastated their population.The pin shows Benjami
