A short film about lifelong friendship and devastating loss - Short SummaryWe are the writers, producers and creators of The Brandon Tree. This film, while only a brief snapshot, explores themes of loss, friendship and mental illness. Two friends meet at a relic of their youth to commemorate the anniversary of the passing of their friend and bandmate. Struggling to navigate how to communicate with one another in the wake of loss, they attempt to make meaning of the tragedy through drug use and stories of the past. They must learn how to wrestle
