"Deiondre's Dollhouse" is a multimedia series by Ragan Henderson depicting a black doll in her home. - "Deiondre's Dollhouse"explores a world that I and so many others never got to see growing up as a young black girl. At each turn of the toy store aisle, white-faced dolls sat happy in their homes, waiting for a little girl or boy to bring them home. I'm hoping that through art and fashion, this series helps to make up for the lack of black fantasy worlds shown off front and center on store shelves.
