Help Ezra and other young men with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy - Ezra Portillo was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (a rare progressive disease that affects the muscles when he was 4 years old. Right now, Ezra is fully functional and full of energy and life.  Eventually, it will become increasingly difficult for Ezra to get around. Statistically, he will begin using a wheelchair full-time just in a few years.
