San Jorge Island by Puerto Peñasco Mexico is ground zero when it comes to sea lion entanglement. - EnglishMy name is Vince Radice and I am the director of World's Aquarium, a 501 C3 non profit. As a child growing up in the suburbs of Chicago my curiosity for all things aquatic were fuelled by the late great underwater explorer Jacques Cousteau. After graduating from the University of Arizona with a B.S. In microbiology and a minor in chemistry and the realization that working in the lab could never compare to exploring the Sea of Cortes I moved to San Carlos Sonora Mexico. One of the Jewels
