Pomelo: Peeling away at discrimination in the hopes of finding the humanity beneath - Short SummaryThe story follows 22-year-old reserved Joy as she shops for her groceries at her local Asian grocery store. Suddenly, a worker comes out with a fresh box of pomelos, a childhood favourite of hers. Out of fear of judgement, Joy doesn’t take off her mask to check the freshness of the pomelo and goes to pay. When she receives her change, she realises she has just enough money and makes a last minute decision to buy the pomelo she saw earlier. As she leaves the store, she sees a tax
