Educational opportunities for low income persons who are visually impaired or totally blind. - The Federal Nigeria Society for the Blind  (FNSB) was established in 1955 is a voluntary non-governmental organization set up to rehabilitate and train people who go blind in adolescence or adulthood. In 1956, The Society established a Vocational Training Centre for the Blind in Oshodi with the primary objective of providing an institution to educate and empower visually impaired people, giving them opportunities to pursue their various ambitions either academically or through entrepreneur
