My Parents did a great job, but I always fought obesity as a child. They just did not know any better when it came to health and nutrition. Back in the '80s, there were not a lot of "fat" kids at school, so I was made fun of and I lashed out on several occasions. In my teen years, I decided I was going to get fit and become a U.S. Marine. I did that, but even during my 8 year Marine Corps Career, I struggled to stay within weight standards.
