Support California College of Art’s Curatorial Practice Exhibition! - ARTWORK FOR BEDROOMS is an exhibition that tells the story of eight artists living and working in San Francisco during a time of rapid development and significant technological advances. From 2000 to 2008, this group of artists made intimate works that resisted the increasingly digitized world. Sarah Cain, rock of good will (2004)This is a show for the close-looker, the observer, the introvert. It is a show that promises to revise our sense of the city’s recent art and history. This exhibition is an opportunity for us to share works that have not been seen for over a decade. This will include a recreation of a site-specific installation made by Alicia McCarthy in 2003. It will also feature Sarah Cain's paintings on rocks and dry leaves, as well as Tauba Auerbach’
