A coming of age film echoing the legend of the "Great Indian Leap" at Yantic Falls, Norwich, CT. - "Leap" is a coming-of-age short film encircled around the legend of "Indian Leap". The legend is: in the late 1600's, Chief Miantonomo and the Narragansetts were planning a surprise attack against Chief Uncas and his Mohegan Tribe. Catching word of the attack, Uncas corner Miantonomo and challenged him to a one-on-one battle. Miantonomo declined, which led Uncas to order his tribe to attack.
