I've been writing since I was a young child and enjoy the art of storytelling.Cassandra's Castle came from a compelling need in my heart to change a bit of history. You see, when I was helping a friend with some genealogy, I came across the tragic story of King Manuel II. A young man, no more than seventeen years old at the time, watched his father and brother die in a carriage on the streets of Portugal.  He was also wounded but survived.
