Long story short, we befriended the promoter of the fight while in line for the tickets and were given behind-the-scenes access to the stadium for the town's bullfight on New Year's Day. Armed with the only camera I had on me (an Olympus point-and-shoot film camera), I shot everything from the arrival of the bullfighters, to the prepping of the bulls and horses, to the last bull being carted out of the arena-- and everything in between. After sitting on the photos for the entirety of 2018, I've decided to finally finish a printed zine project using about 40 of my favorite images from the day.
