A short film showcasing some of the problems with type casting women in theater and film. - In the arts, many women are forced into certain boxes based on their race, weight, and overall look. "The Type" is a short film that follows four young actresses in the industry, struggling with being type casted.This film is made by women, for women, in order to express our grievances with the idea of type casting by sharing stories, put together by a panel of young actresses last year.
