I hope to produce a commemorative 8.5x11 full-colour hardcover book with 20+ pages of full-colour photographs taken in France in 2018 - Ian Leslie Macdonald is the Regimental Photographer of The 48th Highlanders of Canada. He is also the grandson of Donald Macdonald, who along with his brother Angus, were pipers and stretcher bearers in the 15th Battalion CEF (48th Highlanders) during the First World War. Ian’s position is an unpaid volunteer one, and he has lent his talents to the 48th Highlanders and as a member of the 15th Battalion Memorial Project for over a decade.
