A father and daughter go someplace they've never been before. - Static is a short film written by award-winning fiction writer Michael Hopkins and directed by Judy Bauerlein. It’s based on Michael’s short story Static, which won first place in the Wisconsin People and Ideas Magazine Awards (2018).  Static tells the story of a daughter coming to terms with the challenges of caring for her aging father.
